Edition 1/1 H2O captures the fluid stillness of being submerged; the refracted surface above the shifting blues below and the moment of quiet suspension in between. Created as a one-of-a-kind monotype on a zinc plate the work reflects the movement and clarity of ocean water with painterly immediacy. Part of the ongoing Ocean Series it invites the viewer into an abstracted meditative experience of light and liquid.
