Look me in the Eye 7

Edition 1/1 Inspired by the urgent need to care for our oceans this series of unique hand-printed monotypes depicts close-ups of fish eyes — a direct gaze that quietly confronts the viewer with the question: “Can you look me in the eye?” The works invite reflection and conversation around the sustainability of our everyday choices and the impact they have on marine life. This series also marks a deeper exploration of the monotype medium. Each print was created on a fully polished zinc plate worked with oil-based printmaking inks and printed on 350g Hahnemühle etching paper using a tabletop Zokei press.
